Sendung Keri’s Kitchen

Keri Y invites us to travel with her musically and trust her sonic sensations. She takes us into the revolutionary history of Portugal, weaving a soundscape of days in Marseille and months in India. She frames the tales of a modern train rider or excerpts from favourite books with music that makes these stories come alive and develops them further. Some of her music combinations elegantly tell jokes, her selection in a show with cover versions is sometimes grotesquely cross-genre. How does it feel to go haphazardly on a sabbatical, what do menopausal women sing about?
