We do this not because it is easy but because we thought it was easy.
we are coming back to 674fm Konzertraum for another edition of our concert series soft rotation
soft rotation is a monthly concert organized collectively by sound enthusiasts. We warmly introduce rotation as our core concept, offering a platform for newcomers and artists who share our commitment to exploration by embracing errors, mistakes in try-outs. soft rotation is a concert series of time-based sound performances encompassing practices, actions, computer music, electronics, acoustic music, and audio-visual.
We invite you to join us, hang out, and talk with the artists, exchanging knowledge and ideas following each concert.
STRATEGIE V
STRATEGIE V ist a metal band without drums from the Ruhr Valley. It consists of Tim Pauli (e-guitar, sampler, timpauli.net) und Theo Voerste (e-bass, sampler, theovoerste.de). They use instruments with custom fretboards. Currently they use fretboards with a 5-limit just intonation. With their low tuned instruments and field recordings from the data junkyards of the world wide web they use the legacy of La Monte Young, Earth, Sunn O))), Bohren & der Club of Gore and Merzbow to form their own aesthetic through the static ecstasy of drone and the chaotic meditations of noise and computer music.
Valeria Oggioni
Valeria Oggioni uses voice and electronics to create restrained, textural compositions. Her pieces unfold slowly, guided by repetition, subtle variation, and a careful use of space. The voice becomes less a vehicle for language and more a fragment of sound—grainy, partial, woven into the electronic fabric. Patterns emerge and evolve gradually, creating a quiet tension. Between control and openness, her music invites close listening, focusing on detail, surface, and the subtle movement of sound across a shifting sonic landscape.

Shuoxin Tan + Jun-Y Ciao
The collaboration between electronic musician Shuoxin and soprano saxophonist Jun-Y investigates resonance between digital and acoustic sound sources. Their work explores spectral interaction, auditory perception, and how laptop-generated sound and live saxophone can find points of contact—through shared textures, overlapping frequencies, and spatial relationships. Each performance is a real-time exploration of how two distinct instruments can listen to and shape one another.
