soft rotation is a concert series dedicated to sound art, performance and experimental electronic music. Organized collectively by sound enthusiasts, our concerts are built around the idea of rotation, mixing perspectives, mediums and voices in each edition. We offer a platform for audiences and artists who share our commitment to exploration, where experimentation and try-out ideas are encouraged, and the unexpected is welcomed.
We invite you to join us, hang out, and talk with the artists, exchanging knowledge and ideas following each concert.
Desman Des Pyrénées
Desman Des Pyrénées is an electroacoustic duo featuring Roberto Beseler Maxwell on clarinet and Edis Luwdig on computer. Edis plays 4-channel electronics for the duo, sending the source material—live sampling of the clarinet and synthesizer—in circular movements around the audience. Both musicians are fond of Anglo-American folk elements.

yyed
Yyed is a sound artist based in Bonn working primarily with field recordings, field non-recordings, gestural non-action, non-gestural action, non-verbal speech, and verbal non-speech.
They will present an insipid collage of bland sound, tedious sound, frustrated sound, sound-in-
itself, sound-outside-itself, and (maybe) interesting sound.

Isabelle Finou
Isabelle Finou is a performance artist, singer and composer.
Her work spans a variety of genres in which she creates scenic pieces,
memoirs, installations, performances, as well as love pieces for the stage and the public
space. Her artistic field of research deals with the sensitivity and vulnerability of the
individual in social and digital transformative processes. She understands the human body
as a resonance cavity for sounds and noises in which the sending out of one’s voice into
space becomes a political act.
