The seánce begins. We celebrate Walpurgisnacht with a witchy gathering and special guests: Naomie Klaus, Anna Freytag and Lilli Lake in Cologne – the séances sonores witch edition.

In the first edition of séances sonores, we invite you all to immerse with us into the sonic spaces between worlds, to dive into the nooks where weirdness gestates and to experience the power of coming together, in remembrance of the persecutions of the so-called witch trials that took place in Cologne and elsewhere in Europe.

Yonca, Vitaminka & Jay will open the evening, after which Anna Freytag will present a lecture-performance, in which she will explore the meaning of spirituality in the contemporary context in relation to the popular and political figure of the witch. Before midnight, Lilli Lake will conjure up mystifying atmosphere and bring us all to dance. With the theme of the evening in mind, we invited the Brussels based producer, romantic grunge-head at heart and nineties child par excellence Naomie Klaus. Her riotous, mischievous live-sets create a polymorphous playground of tragi-glamorous stories over catchy rhythms … oscillating between shouty trip-hop, neo-grunge, lazy punk and teasing pop. Like us, she likes to explore the zones of in-between.

And in the end, we will find ourselves again in communion on the spooky dancefloor. 🧹
